This is most likely going to offend some people, but this is a genuine thing I've noticed.
So we have a lot of international fans and western fans who will get incredibly upset over Korean netizens going at idols for their race, and showing pride in their race and nationality-mainly those who are Chinese or Japanese.
However, a lot of international fans and western fans have no problem attacking those who take pride in being white.
They also have the tendency to get upset because the history of Japan & China is usually used against these idols even though those idols genuinely have nothing to do with that history or the actions of their ancestors (or possible ancestors).
Yet a lot of white people are hated on for slavery-something most Americans and modern white people had no part in nor support.
So I genuinely don't understand the hypocrisy so do you guys find this upsetting as well or annoying by any means?
Also, if you have more to add to this please feel free to.
Disclaimer: My main point with this thread is to point out hypocrisy from international fans as a whole (of course not all international fans think this way and this is a more western take on it considering that I am from the west). I don't support tossing hate at anyone for their race or nationality personally but find it annoying that it seems to be seen as ok in certain circumstances and not in others.
