Pretty ballsy for her to announce in her graduation speech that she's debuting in KPOP. Hopefully her fans follow her to Korea.

I was kinda surprised as i thought she was in the running for the next GM.
also i thought there was a non compete clause(maybe its japan only.)
PD 48 looks to be a watershed moment for a lot of girls.

One of the strongest Japanese trainees in my opinion! Shame she didn't make it into IZ*ONE but glad she's debuting somewhere else already, now I just need Miyu to debut and everything will be right in the world!

I'm down with the After School revamp but debuting a new girl group while Pristin are still in the dungeon is disrespectful. I hope the rumours about the Stone/Pledis group are true and that Stone does the majority of the managing for obvious reasons.

Having Yunjin, Natty and Miyu in one group together would make me a stan instantly!

I would think as captain she went thru channels and got the correct permissions.

She'll probably debut with them next year, when their contract allows them to promote. She'll probably spend this year learning Korean, training and stuff.

Can they promote in 2020 i thought they were locked down until April 2021?
That would make sense and a way around any year long non compete clause.
One of the articles said sooner rather than later, but that may have not been official.

I think Mion got the GM position because they wanted someone who plans on staying plus someone who wouldn't really talk back to the management.

PD48 probably ignited the fire in these girls because they got a taste of something that they were probably missing from being in AKB for too long.

This is making me wonder if the j line will go back to what they had. Sakura is already making a name for herself in Korea with KHD.
They have friends, history and fans they love. Japan is a bigger market, but back to the akb grind may be a bit much. I guess it will depend on just how popular Hitomi and Nako get.
