Imagine if Blackpink were promoted as much as BTS. Do you think they'd be as popular?

Blackpink have debuted for 4 years by August of this year. Think of BTS in 2017. By then they had already blown up and were on the rise. Blackpink is huge though they're hardly promoted at all and have like 9 songs. Could Blackpink have been the "female BTS?"

yg really messed up by not capitalizing on their boost after coachella with a comeback. but i think they're highly anticipating anyway so it'll do well if it comes soon. honestly i think they could top bts's popularity if they got regular comebacks. but yg only cares about money.
