i get that it sucks for genuine collectors who like to admire their albums, but when you look at how many albums are mass bought and thrown out w just the photo cards missing this is absolutely the right move. and i'm sorry but doing whatever we can for the environment is much more important than shelf aesthetics

exactly! this and the amount of bulk-buyers donating the albums they don't need to charities and schools where a kpop album would be the last thing they'd ask for.

yea they're really not doing anyone a favour by dropping off a dozen boxes full of their faves' opened albums, just using these organizations as dumpsters under the guise of ""charity"". hearing about these stories is frustrating enough..

i imagine some fans find this ridiculous because giving up physical albums is like a drop in the ocean, and fair enough, in the grand scheme of things this is too little too late, but it's something and it's better than nothing

Kpop albums are nice, but at the end they are a huge waste of resources
The amount of albums bulk buyers wasted for photocards or fansign tickets…

agreed, people expect others including companies to do something for the environment and then when they do something they want to take it back which is what i really don't get. like this is the same company who made people buy an album without sharing anything about the group so you know nobody's buying that for the CDs
