A little bit of tea that I just read if you can call it tea: apparently, the Division system is only for their Korean groups so this isn't gonna be the Chinese version of NiziU.

Divison 4 is also the division that is responsible for Day6 so MAYBE they'll have a band concept since this feels SUPER soon to be debuting a new girl group but I don't think JYP has any female trainees that are prepping to be in a band that we know of.

I wonder if they're not confident in Twice signing their renewal contracts and that's why their bringing out a new girl group so soon when they already have a new boy group coming at the end of the year...

Apparently, it's the same amount of time between debuts as Wonder Girls and Miss A but I feel like Wonder Girls were a lot more established in their career by the time Miss A came a long... idk maybe the success just looks different now because the industry has changed so much since then plus ITZY was always supposed to be a group targeted at the west so I'm assuming that this group will be focused more one the Korean market...

Feels too soon for them to be debuting another girl group but I suppose it could be a sign that Twice aren't going to resign as a group since having 3 girl groups at once would be dumb.

WG def were way more established by then.

No one has made 3 gg work in the same gen. promotion wise.

SM kinda did for 2014-2017 but each group had fans very very unhappy.

Right now they have spun off subunits/solos of the older groups aka SNSD/ rv

killed one group fx

ramping up aespa.


DSP flat failed the Kara/ rainbow/ april atempt.

and JYP purposely destroyed WG each time he launched a new gg.

Twice has at least faired better than WG in that regard.
