You have 11 amazing girls who are happy to be on stage, giving it all out in their performance, stage charisma and literally enjoying every moment of it. And then you have Kang Hyewon who is literally uncomfortable to be on stage, has weird expressions throughout the performance, has zero charisma, even less stage presence and makes me uncomfortable watching how uncomfortable she is. I cannot get into IZ*ONE simply due to the fact that Hyewon will appear for a mili-second, say her 1 line and destroy it all.

And to think we could have had Gaeun instead...

I will be the first to admit while i had her making the team I would have replaced her with several girls.
But as a team member she is really really loved by the group and is getting much better. The look at me's in highlight are good and the knock knock in violeta looks smooth.

Anyway she finished 8th. all ya can do is get Chowon over Chaeyeon and almost nobody will take that trade.

She is not particularly talented for sure but her stage presence is quite good now and relies on her discrete charm. She also is a personality and visual stan attractor.

She is getting better on stage (even though she is still awful) but her point of attraction is her visuals and her personality.

I will be the 1st one to admit when the lineup was announced she was the no.1 I wanted out of the group, but as time went on I have started to appreciate her sense of humor and personality!

Yep! I low key think that's the reason Kaeun didn't make it into the group, all of the other girls were really young but Kaeun was a 24-year-old grown ass woman and should've known better than to get caught up in all that nonsense.

Thing is we never found out who voted for who...in general and looking back at it, Produce 48 was the most competitive one of all and many girls screwed each other over

I have rewatched pd 48 a ton well over 10 time per. ep .. Chaeyeon was clearly in with the popular girls.

Also this group is the one that killed Kaeun (among the guys watching) she was totally exposed as just not fitting in a young girl act.
She was able to hid behind Jurina in PAB, Side to side Kaeun needed to center to sell she cant be cute but she can own sexy, but she got completely outshown by the other girls.
She was in trouble, the kids know it is why they made her center.

This group is really hard and I think her own vote hurt her. Not like rollin where Moe is bad. Hyewon would have got kicked but see you again was under. Miu is odd girl out 2, 3 were surprising here.

Kaeun Yunjin and Juri will be placed high by each girl because they are much more connected than previous seasons (with everyone not staying in lock down at the facility like at all)
Kaeun is the group mom, and trending down badly(1->8)
Yunjin was getting hosed over the Nako deal and she is far and away the best vocal.
Juri because the optics of K v J trainees has been bad at times, no one will want to be that girl, and she fits this concept.
Yena killed the vocal lesson and is super cute and sexy. her getting second
Chaeyeon is a great all a rounder and a superior dancer, but I AM is easy. I feel like she was the fan number 1 for this song.
Yujin clearly on the fence here yet she becomes the center by producer choice. She is cute and skilled also. She is really high ranked needing the votes matters as we can see by to see you again taking Sakura (that did not help.)

Yunjin - Kaeun, Yunjin, Juri, Yena, Yujin . she is terrified after the Nako deal probably went number 2 for herself.

Chaeyeon - Kaeun, Yena, Yunjin, Juri , Chaeyeon - i am sure she put herself 4th or 5th. if she voted for Yujin she was nuts.
Yujin - Kaeun, Yujin, Yena, Juri, Yunjin - she know Chaeyeon Yunjin is her competition and has shown a willingness to self promote, but she had Kaeun number 1 in the reveal.
