what is this for? im still new

Every year (or actually whenever it is announced by Awards staff), badges are revamped so they stay up to date.
Badges are what users have under their username for example:

So in this case, this thread is for Kep1er's badge revamp. So users can suggest badges (you can make them yourself or send them to me, I'd be willing to make them). When suggestion period has ended, you will get to vote on the badges. Then there will be another voting until one badge won the majority vote.
That badge will be the badge for that member until there's another revamp.
Hope this makes it clear, if not, i'm always open to answer your questions!
