Idk how SocMed training would help APRIL(I think) naeun, gidle soojin, lsfm garam, Irene, n Hong jinyoung 😩not just Illit but all idols should have some sort of social media training if not already
I've said it a lot previously but you can't stop the haters and antis and mean comments - the only thing you can do is how you as the idol react to their comments
training as in both what to write and obviously how to deal with such negativity that comes from itIdk how SocMed training would help APRIL(I think) naeun, gidle soojin, lsfm garam, Irene, n Hong jinyoung 😩maybe justor Tablo.
There may not be a one size fits all approach/solution to online attacks/haters. Idk the answer except to individually respond howsoever the attackee(ie the one attacked) chooses to do so, every response(including none) is a minefield(?) 🤷♀️🤷♂️🤷
I think (after ACTUALLY watching the clip) tat sometimes training can't prepare the person, BUT talking to trusted seniors like Kang Hodong, Heechul, Buzz's Kyunghoon, Lee Soogeun, Lee Sangmin like in this video(idk if all I mentioned gave advice) might help. But not ETA: ALL [end edit] trainees/rookies/idols hv the chance/opportunity of getting advicetraining as in both what to write and obviously how to deal with such negativity that comes from it
for example do you cry or cringe or worry constantly about every single negative post?
do you ignore them and focus on the positivity
do you self reflect and see what you could have done better
etc etc
of course not all idols have such opportunities but I like to think those from the bigger companies like the big4 etc etc will hopefully get them some kind of training even psychological support should those that need itI think (after ACTUALLY watching the clip) tat sometimes training can't prepare the person, BUT talking to trusted seniors like Kang Hodong, Heechul, Buzz's Kyunghoon, Lee Soogeun, Lee Sangmin like in this video(idk if all I mentioned gave advice) might help. Imma end my post here, cause I despair for the Internet hate/criticism overall.
Still sometimes it's difficult to ascertain who from Big4 need support the most as some idols/rookies might just bear with it n hide their reactions/struggles from the company 😕.of course not all idols have such opportunities but I like to think those from the bigger companies like the big4 etc etc will hopefully get them some kind of training even psychological support should those that need it

Tat said JYPE does seem to hv a optimal response so far with, M***, J*****-- n now L** getting a break w/out (tat I hv seen) much backlash/n returning to active status. Idk if the actions pre-hiatus(brouhaha involving their bg) were contributing to recent, well 2019/2020; hiatus decisions but not all companies would do so, examples up to ur perspective/knowledge 🤔
RV joy went on a injury/health break while on tour in Indonesia, necessitating 4 member concert(afair), the 3rd in my post above was ITZY's member L**.this is purely for discussion purposes and not to rag on any group or individual member
but I remember jeongyeon telling the fans in vlive that she was tired and wanted a break...now twice in their early years were quite overworked one might argue and thus leading to such situations like those three mentioned...
the issue with those JYPE artists is that why should they have to go on hiatus in the first place? I only compare them to the likes of RV and BP their contemporaries in the 3rd gen and none of those groups (ie. BP nor RV) needed to go on hiatus...
I remember joy being injured which is different from being on hiatus due to mental health issuesRV joy went on a injury/health break while on tour in Indonesia, necessitating 4 member concert(afair), the 3rd in my post above was ITZY's member L**.
SNSD reportedly had many members miss schedules but due to busy activities(acting or other things).
BP had/has famously the most relaxed idol schedule 😌(I'm a blink n hv been since 2019, tho I did rpt the accusation of lazy dancing/I spoke it out loud before kill this love comeback release)
TWICE/ITZY I think strikes while the Iron is hot 🔥(maybe Miss A situation shaped JYPE's attitude)
As I posted above, no 1 strategy/solution fits all. As long as teens/youngsters want to debut/be idols it's gonna be uphill battle for them. As a SONE, one of the first things I read was online list of possible members who trained to debut in SNSD from 2000~2007, a fair few opted out/got cut n this is part of my thinking - u can stop if u decide to do so n become a civilian(I think Pristin K*** after leaving is an example).
I think Stella Kim, Zhang Hajinn maybe Zhang Liyin(who solo debuted)are those I'm thinking of who never debuted n did ok.
Not sure if j*****-- n L** were specifically revealed to hv which medical reasons, either physical or otherwise, cited.I remember joy being injured which is different from being on hiatus due to mental health issues

If u mean BP, 2 full albums in X no. yrs seem to quietened those complaints. I saw no lack of audience/fans when they performed in concerts in S.E.A tho. Ticket prices were too high(/difficult to get) so I had no plans to buy/watchh but even if I did I might not hv been able to get tickets, difficulty lvl only topped by Taylor Swift earlier this yr I think(which is kinda nuts as TS had 6 performances here in S.E.A(!) 🤔...
I'm not too familiar with SNSD since they were way before my time
and yet lots of fans complain about lack of musical releases lol
....
I hv comment on this for now.....
I do think that idols do need to work as much as one can since especially for female idols they have a "deadline" - not many GG renew with all their members together post first contract expiry so they need to earn as much money and obtain as much fame as they can before the 7 years
...
I didn't know of 'em before 2018, just tat they were trainees/potential members of SNSD before debut. It's just an example of trainees who went for higher education n didn't regret not being an idol. I don't subscribe to what ifs irl, but this comes close.....
not sure who those people are
see aboveNot sure if j*****-- n L** were specifically revealed to hv which medical reasons, either physical or otherwise, cited.
The hiatus of Naomi Osaka n Simone Biles comes to mind, they cited their mental health as the reason they went on hiatus. In tennis, the early inactivity of Martina Hingis n Anna Kournikova after early initial success/stardom come to mind. I think they had/hv the right to not pursue competition status further(tho I rmbr Hingis at least returned for doubles at least later). If idols/rookies/trainees decide to go on hiatus, I think they shd decide on wat is best for themselves. If they decide to forge ahead, tats fine too.
I've heard of osaka's issues especially when she won the us open (or one of the grand slams) she got a lot more eyes on her
of course for idols are humans and have very differing reactions to things - some might need time off some might need to quit the industry all together whilst some can soldier on...

I meant overall their discography is the lowest of most of 3rd gen groups and some 4th gen groups probably surpassed their discography in terms on numbers
success wise though - they are one of the top groups in the 3rd and even now
I hv comment on this for now.

I'm sure lots of people leave trainees without regrets just as there are people who do regret and I'm sure there are lots of idols who regret being an idol
being an idol is a f****** hard job and only the small small numbers of them actually make it and earn a decent living - for every BP or Twice there are probably hundreds if not thousands of groups who can barely make a living
