Starting December 18th of last year, sex offenders a person who filmed and distributed explicit videos or images without consent could face up to 5 years in jail or a fine of 30 million won (about $27,000).

Those who make money off of this could face up to seven years in prison. (Atm we don't know if he made money off the vids)

Regarding prostitution, which Seungri is accused of, he can see up to 15 years in prison for sex trafficking, as it came out he brokered women for clientle . Those who "purchased" the women face a lesser punishment of 1 year in prison and about ($2600 fine).

Seungri isn't actually being accused of human trafficking though there was a Soompi article the other day where the original lawyer that handed in the KaTalk messages explain what kinda sentences they were looking at. I think he said that because Seungri only faced a max of 5 years while JJY could get up to 7...
