but for me at least, I rarely think about how the ages of idols from different groups stack against each other!

Sooooo, just some things here!
Starting out easy!

Kai & Sehun were born in the same year, Taemin is born the year before them. Kai was just born at the beginning of the year so he is friends with Taemin.
6 of the EXO members are older than ALL of the BTS members.
Half of the BTS members are younger than all of the EXO members
Solar and Irene BOTH are older than all BTS members
TVXQ's Changmin is only 2 years older than EXO's Xiumin (Their close friendship seems a lot more expected looking at it this way!)
4 of 5 SHINee members are younger than EXO's Xiumin
NCT has 6 members born in 2000, 4 members born in 99, but only one born in 98

Mark (99) is friends with Jungwoo (98) despite Mark being born in the summer and Jungwoo being born early in the year! (aka their age gap being bigger than a year)
Jungwoo and Lucas (Who is 99, but older than Mark) aren't friends
