Welcome to the 17th card raffle! This is a biweekly event, with a raffle happening every 2 weeks. Through the raffle you get the chance to win legendary cards, which are gif cards of your favs. You may use points to enter the raffle (50 points per entry), with a total of 5 entries allowed per person in each raffle. There is one week for entries each raffle, starting when the thread is posted. There are 3 winners, with each winner winning one legendary card at random from the 3 options. The winners will be announced through a thread when the raffle is over. The raffle will end exactly one week from now.

This week the cards you can win are:
Woodz 3, GFriend SinB, and 2PM Wooyoung


Rules
1. Entries cost 50 points each.
2. You may only enter 5 times each raffle.
3. You have one week to submit your entries.
4. Do not complain if you receive a card you don't want from the raffle. It is a chance that you have to be okay with taking.
5. All relevant cards rules apply (no harassing those with cards, ect.)

Before i agree to the rules of Raffle 17: can i ask if shifting the cards is an unfair advantage to previous raffle winners? After all, in the roulette - if a user already has the limited card or card of choice tat user CANT receive the same card again from the roulette if they already hv the card. Shouldnt tat same rule apply for Raffles?

Long term, hypothetically if the card event n Roulette/raffle lasts a long time, a user might hv a few legendaries/limited/rares/common cards they dont stan/want to keep long term if they're lucky enuf to keep winning Raffles. It seems unbalanced to other Raffle participants to shift cards amongst winners.

But idk wat other solutions might work tho for future Raffles.

My reasoning is that they were pulled as a winner and theres no way to repull the winners, so we cant really just give the card to another person because the system doesnt work that way.

But ur unbalancing the raffle to the other raffle participants(who hv randomly been picked to receive another card), when EVERY OTHER aspect of the card event is based on randomly selecting a card be-it common, rare or limited to each requestor. If the requestor ALREADY has tat card, they cant receive tat card. Tat the Raffle doesnt take THIS fundamental rule into account shd be addressed by perhaps amending the Raffles structure instead of overriding THIS MOST basic rule?

How is it balanced to PRIORITIZE 1 raffle winner OVER the other 2? Wat if 2 raffle participants in future hv card A & card B, who gets card C? Does the 3rd participant get card A or B, n who gets the remaining card leftover from A/B? As i wrote above, idk the solution for future raffles. Unless someone else has a suggestion?

The issue becomes that not only can the system not deal with this situation but if we did have a way of dealing with it the only option would be to give the players who have a card a smaller chance of getting any card, which would also be unequal.

what if you randomly chose 3 entries from the entries (given there's not multiple of the same person picked) as winners

and then randomly distribute the 3 cards amongst the 3 winners similar to the roulette, and in that way, someone not winning a card they already have would be accounted for as well, and it would be fair
