#26 this is going to sound laughable but my grandma is obsessed with this older american tv show, little house on the prairie and she is making me watch it too because the tv in my room is the only one in the whole house that has the channel where the reruns are airing. this is going to sound laughable but i am on my limit. guys this is torture. at first i didn't mind because i thought it was kinda fun and not going to last long BUT it has 9 seasons and we're less than halfway through. i have seen charles ingalls more than i have seen my own father. these kids always have the same problems and i looked up what happens later - this is a family show yet one of the kids has their mother literally burned alive. the little whistling theme they have at the end is haunting me at night and there is nothing i can do. i understand this might not get posted because technically it could be considered bashing of the innocent citizens of walnut grove but i had to let it out. thank you all for your support through these difficult times.

these kids are so annoying pls. the writers were just dumping all the traumatic experiences on that poor girl mary because how tf do you go blind and lose two of your children in a span of like 3 years??? also that kid albert should be in prison. how did he get away with burning a school just because he wanted to smoke?? like his friend lost a mother and his sister lost a son because of that and he's just like "ohhh i didn't mean it :(((" they should have left him in winoka cleaning these shoes!

The show literally was a mess. And they were based off books but if I remember correctly they were so exaggerated. Mary never really opened a school, I don’t even think Albert existed. Another thing I should add was the books weren’t completely written by laura either. They were oral stories told to her daughter that she transcribed basically. At least thats how my dad explained it to me. Can you tell how much I cared?
