Haven't seen a thread like since the first year of this forum.. And some other forums.
Ahh, The nostalgia of reading people's secrets and not knowing who they are. :pepesmug:...
And it's interesting to think we may never learn
I can't even guess who sent most of these in tbh

Depends, some users have a way of typing and talking about things, from, sentence structure to particular words they use. But you'd have to pay a lot of attention to users and know certain things about them.
I dont spend much time here anymore so I wouldn't have a clue but they are interesting to read, and probably serve as an outlet for some I suppose.

That's very true. The ones I have been able to pick out, of course not revealing identities to respect privacy, do have a typing style I'm used to hearing. But many I have no clue. I've used this as an outlet a few times already and it's nice to vent without judgment.

one user on KS badly reminded me of a person I know irl, personality-wise, but then that user started posting some songs from her country and I realized she is from a whole different continent.

#41 I'm so frustrated. I was told today that I was smart and I couldn't even enjoy the moment because of my own brain. I'm told so often that my knowledge doesn't matter because it's not applicable to the real world (ie. math, science,, geography). I love art, and poetry, and psychology. But that doesn't really matter, I guess. I'm also so tired of being the butt of jokes about being dumb.

#42 I don't feel like I deserve them some days. They're too good for me. I'm the type of person who by hanging around, I just ruin people's reputation. I hurt people. It would be easier if I just disappeared some days. But other days it's so worth every minute. They make me feel so special, loved and supported. They're the sunshine in my life. I never want to lose them but the voices tell me I'm not good enough

#43 I have a lot of religious trauma but I want to find my way back to God and reignite my faith. I do believe but after being ridiculed for who I am by other followers I didn't feel safe. Leaving the Church was both the best and worst thing I've ever done

Hey, OP #41. Having profound knowledge in arts, poetry and psychology are not useless. Whoever says that they are, they are close-minded. You can apply those fields to your experience in the real world, undoubtedly. I find that those subjects help me to see the world through a different lens, it helped me appreciate my surroundings and romanticize them so to speak. If anything, I am of the belief that it's those abilities to evaluate our feelings and how they correspond to our surroundings (basically arts :jenniesmug:) more brilliant than the abilities to have outstanding logical and computational skills. Also, for real, whoever says that only Math and Applied Sciences are the ones that can be directly applied to the real world is either drowning in their ego or they have been brainwashed by the disgusting push institutions make to put STEM on a pedestal and leave the A to the sidelines. To assure you even more, experts in educational pedagogy have now believed that STEAM (yes, that includes arts!) is the way to go. So keep doing what you do best and don't numb them down for the sake of crunching some numbers or memorizing some terms.

Thank you both, I wasn’t originally planning on revealing myself as that anon but I do appreciate hearing this. I grew up thinking my talents didn’t mean anything in the “real world” so its hard to challenge those thoughts

#49 I feel like an outcast in my group of friends. Like I feel like they only tolerate me because they have no choice but to. I saw an anon, not naming which one, but I automatically assumed it was about me. Which wouldn’t be surprising considering how I’ve been feeling lately. Part of me just wants to walk away. I feel like I’m constantly annoying or a burden even though I don’t try to be
