Hey, OP #41. Having profound knowledge in arts, poetry and psychology are not useless. Whoever says that they are, they are close-minded. You can apply those fields to your experience in the real world, undoubtedly. I find that those subjects help me to see the world through a different lens, it helped me appreciate my surroundings and romanticize them so to speak. If anything, I am of the belief that it's those abilities to evaluate our feelings and how they correspond to our surroundings (basically arts

) more brilliant than the abilities to have outstanding logical and computational skills. Also, for real, whoever says that only Math and Applied Sciences are the ones that can be directly applied to the real world is either drowning in their ego or they have been brainwashed by the disgusting push institutions make to put STEM on a pedestal and leave the A to the sidelines. To assure you even more, experts in educational pedagogy have now believed that STEAM (yes, that includes arts!) is the way to go. So keep doing what you do best and don't numb them down for the sake of crunching some numbers or memorizing some terms.
