Quite a bit actually! Looking back at some photos just now the WM building wasn't very run down at all, many of the buildings are similarly designed (narrow, multi-storied and square looking) so it's easy to get the mixed up in my head. A lot of the time the smaller companies are in more pleasing environments than the bigger ones with WM being a great example, it's located in the back streets near Hongdae so there's a lot of young people and small shops with little traffic, it had a nice homely vibe and the building is right next to the side-walk so that you can touch it without being accosted by security.

To make an opposite example (and I hope I'm not threading on any toes) Starship is located in Cheongdam (Gangnam) which is a really fancy and high-class area but I remember thinking it was the least impressive out of the agencies I visited. This is of course nothing against the company and might have been influenced by the fact that there was a pile of garbarge right outside which I think is quite common in Korea for garbage to be left out like that for pickup/recycling. Still, the building itself was in a similar shape to WM and quite near the major roads, there wasn't much people or shops but a lot of traffic. Also the whole building is covered in iron bars for some reason.

Although I might be biased I think JYPE is the objectively most impressive being one of the larger buildings but also situated right across the street from Olympic Park giving it a really nice view and nature vibe. SM is a weird one because they do not have their own building and instead have several floors in a massive building that also houses other company offices, it's situated beside Seoul Forest and would be more impressive than JYPE if it was actually their own building.
The upside is that means you can enter the lobby and they have some SM videos playing on the walls in there, SM was the only place which I entered but I think CUBE had a public cafe and HYBE had a lobby too which was closed when I was there (it looked somewhat barren from the outside though). JYPE used to have a cafe too which was closed to the public around covid but you can still see the big red mug sign (?) outside.

My personal favorite was BH which might be more of an acting agency, I don't really know since I only went there because I'm a fan of Ahn Sohee, it's a smaller building with a unusual dark brown color (most smaller buildings are just white or concrete grey) which makes it appear as if it was made out of wood from a distance, it's also surrounded by a lot of greenery and near a park on some calm backroads, it had a very relaxing and homely feel to it.

Starship is doing a lot better now compared to the past, but it makes sense their buildiing is not so impressive, maybe if they earn more money they can get a new one.. the iron bars sound kinda concerning though, like a big prison..??

I'm super surprised to hear SM does not have their own buiilding but now that you mention it.. unlike the JYP and YG ones who are quite famous imo, I have no image of an SM building in my mind

Once JYP moves to their new location, you have to visti again hopefully they open the caffee again, it's unfortunate it remeins closed after covid
