This makes me think of Dreamcatcher <-- MINX(is tat the right group name?) but tat was from an under-known not as memorable name to a better sounding/remember-able name which has become well known today.

Kinda reverse here-a known n memorable group name changed to a worse-in-phonetics n start-at-bottom again name. I think I understand the reason the company thought they needed to change but did they hv to use MADEIN?(hard to google n harder to rmbr than LIMELIGHT-which as name is also meaningful as "IN THE LIMELIGHT" which u hope for if ur a fan. There's a fandom name too-SPOTLIGHTS!

in all seriousness, i'm honestly sad and a bit disappointed. i really liked the direction ot3 limelight was going, so to have them now rebrand and just start over as a whole is really just not it for me i guess i will be unstanning

i dont think that will be happening, but i'll listen to their music casually if i end up liking it honestly (no pun intended) i was just a big fan of their identity as Limelight and i dont think their rebrand will interest me, especially the addition of new members

This doesn't really make sense to me, given that Limelight isn't a total nugu. Honestly did really well, and their last two albums sold pretty well.

Unless they're going to make Limelight the subunit for the current three members? But this otherwise doesn't make great business sense. Minx's rebrand into Dreamcatcher is the only one I can think of where the rebrand ended up more successful than the original.
