I mean you just described a cover as they took someone elses song and applied their own style to it. Lovelyz forced themselves out of their element with the benefit and if they had done it just for the 2nd round maybe it would have been more commendable but they also did it in the 1st round trying to put a sexy twist onto Ah-choo.

yea i was thinking that too but i watched ah choo earlier because that was the point i was going to make. It didn't feel sexy kinda more strong, but either way they made weird choices. And they did not need too they have plenty of strong singers and dancers to make a song work. More than anyone but mmm i think, but they have not effectively used what they have.

Lovelyz performance so far has definitely been them making bad decisions that don't make them shine rather than them performing badly and so far the next round Kei wanted to do a girl crush duet with Hwasa which Hwasa did pair with her and the dance team is girl crush as well which Yein is in so maybe this will go better for them than the normal group rounds.

Well Lovelyz could be taking it all the way to the final round as they said they are doing it so their fans can see another side of themselves since they'll never do this concept otherwise which if that did happen then I think they'd be missing an opportunity to show people new to them why they have the fanbase they do.

yea i read that too. Its a mistake.
To a point Do what you are good at capture more fans. As it is you are only creating problems if you attract fans for one image and do not intend to even do that again. Why do it except for a one off. Best case you have red velvet / clc problems where fans only like a few songs.
