Mamamoo make history (2 Viewers)

[Abeamus]

By becoming the first 3rd generation idol group to have 2 songs surpass 10 weeks in Melons Top 10

Starry Night reached 11 weeks and HIP just reached 11 weeks with other 3rd generation groups surpassing 10 weeks being

iKon - Love Scenario - 20 Weeks
Twice - Cheer Up - 17 Weeks
Blackpink - Ddu-du Ddu-du - 16 Weeks
EXID - Up & Down - 13 Weeks
BTS - Boy With Luv - 11 Weeks

The weekly chart works by unique listeners so fandom streaming can't really get you there, only one that is probably missing from here is Ddu-du Ddu-du which I didn't wanna look for as whenever you search this it just brings up the Top 10 longest charting songs on Melon overall

I used Twitter and updated the list and surprisingly Boy With Luv made it

Yeah I remember being frustrated that it just wouldn't drop
D4 doesn't surprise me either, the ULs were high af on that one.

It's tied with HIP as the longest chartest idol group song of 2019 in the top 10 at the moment but HIP is still charting there and it isn't
It was basically Blackpinks Cheer Up after all

I'm actually surprised Hip is still there, it didn't peak as high as D4/Love Scenario/BWL but that consistency and longevity is amazing

Love Scenario the eternal SOTY

anyway Mamamoo really did that

Maybe you'd be surprised then to know Me Gustas Tus highest was like 6 and it ended up being one of the most successful songs from 3rd generation

Gotta love these sleeper hits, true indication of gp's music taste

[eclipsoul]

legends!

love scenario though... i shouldn't be surprised because it's a great song but 20 weeks is still so impressive
