Medical Masks Are Pretty


Ask me a few years ago before the medical mask as fashion craze and I would have replied.... "Wae...."


But you know.

I think they're pretty in their own way.

A medical mask really????


Well hold on and let me explain.

Look at what it does to the face.

The mask covers the lower half and really emphasizes the beauty of the eyes and a woman's hair as it falls across the outside of the mask.

It also adds a level of contrast between the stark white and the darkness of the skin and hair. (It especially pops with those that have dark hair and eyes.)

Also perhaps it's my personal take but.... I think there's a level of cuteness about them as well. I can't really explain this one though.


So call me crazy but....

Yea I find the trend is beautiful on many idols.

I always get super excited when I visit Asian countries because then I can wear masks, you get weird stares anywhere else lol

You know what? You're right. It really does make you notice the eyes more. It's actually rather pretty.

I also think they can look aesthetically pleasing, but i prefer a bit ones that aren't actually medical masks, but rather are meant to be accessories

To me they give mysterious, rebellious vibe, sometimes punk too.


- Also i hope it was normal to wear those face masks here too when you have flu or sth cause i hate going to bus etc. when people are sneezing all over it.. i get paranoid of getting sick ^^;

Yea I said "medical" mask. But I really mean just any and all of the breathe, fashion masks that people commonly wear in Asia.

I just wanted the two "Ms" for the title haha.

The actual/plain medical masks just reminds me of work lmao. I work in a medical setting.

However, the fashion ones are pretty awesome looking.

We get our relatives from back home in Japan to send us some. The toxic fumes in London can get a bit too much at times.
