I just finished watching BTS' performance about an hour ago and it still hasn't settled in yet... they just made the MMAs their own concert

all the performances were great but i loved bts's stage.

BTS I had mentally prepared myself for but TxT and Chungha pleasantly surprised me with how amazing their stages were!

something is missing, it feels more and more or more precisely, less and less artists/groups attend to these Award Shows and its getting boring at least ITZY was there

I miss award shows feeling like award shows with lot of artists/groups, last year we had IDLE and BP too. This year only Mamamoo and ITZY among popular ggs, and Mamamoo barely got any time.
The performances themselves are good, loved ITZY outfits here.

A lot of groups just didn't do well this year is the problem so even most of the big groups would only be getting small awards and that's just not worth their time.

Yeah basically don't attend if you're winning nothing lol. Which is a shame, oh well.
Still I was surprised TXT got like 3 times as much time as Mamamoo, I guess to keep BigHit happy. BTS got like 40 mins but I remember in that stage time that Oh_mes tweeted earlier, it was supposed to be something like 21 minutes.

Mamamoo probably got so little because of MMA trying to please JYP and Big Hit since they can't afford to lose anyone else at this point and Twice skipped.

Yeah award shows are seriously lacking in star power these days. MAMA won't have YG and SM again or the Produce groups so it's gonna be just BTS and Twice lol.

Yeah and SMA and GDA have 3 daesangs between them which 2 at least will go to BTS so unless the bonsangs are enough to get groups there then they could be bare as well.
