Which SM girl group has a more versatile music video career? Girls' Generation or Red Velvet

Hmm...my brain automatically wants to say RV because of the weird (as Rand said) factor of some of their MVs. They're a real ride lol.
Both have legendary clips, but I would say RV's MVs have more versatility.... but it's been forever since I've just sat down and watched SNSD MVs, so I can't say I fully remember.

If we are talking music videos only, then I would give it to RV

I think it's an apples-to-oranges comparison because the techniques and tricks for making MVs are so much more advanced nowadays. See, for example, the CGI in Zimzalabim or the dance scene transitions in Superhuman.

The SNSD MVs are mostly dance-centered, with Sailing being the outlier.

As several others have mentioned, Red Velvet MVs have a lot more variety and weirdness. And they range from 0% dancing (OOTN, I Just) to 100% dancing (Be Natural).

SNSD has some headstart, but i will say them anyways. Both have quite strong concept they commit to like SNSD's cheerleader or Red Velvet's doll concept. But I think SNSD has explored my styles of video, there is the regular SM box mv's that used to be popular, but they have couple story-driven ones and some that are shot in location like Party. And Mr.Mr was pretty experiemental xd

Not that Red Velvet doesn't have experiemental stuff, like they have some that mixes animation or CGI with footage. But if we think of both different concept and styles of video then I think SNSD is still bit more versatile.
