Most Big 3 companies (Sans YGE) tend to already have the songs already prepared before the idols even get to listen. Sometimes the idols either write to an already existing instrumental or rewrite the English Demo into Korean. I think that makes CL, Sooyoung, Chaeyoung and the Wonder Girls extra impressive for being able to release their compositions as well as lyrics. Girl songwriters aren't as common in kpop and producer/composers are even rarer

Izone is in double digits. and i find it hard to believe Yeri alone isnt at 4 since she wrote her solos and sold at least one song and re-writes most of her raps like say red flavor.

Let alone Amber.

and while izone is not big 3 they have the whole j line with multiple songs some are Japanese but, like the flower trilogy rewrites.

and OTR made a point of showing many of the girls in studio producing the songs they wrote.

It's been well known for a while now that Yeri enjoys writing and composing songs which she would upload onto IG. And she was finally allowed to release one of her own songs through SM Station last month. She also now has a official writer's number under KOMCA which protects her copyrighted...

It's only group songs that are registered on KOMCA. Since most of Yeri's compositions are only shared on Vlive/Instagram, they wouldn't be registered.

Most groups double or triple in number with solos because of how much more input theyir own careers.

With solos and counting ex members (rough rough estimate):
SNSD: in the 50s. Jessica leasing with around 15, Tiffany 10ish, seohyun 6, sootae:2 each
Wonder Girls: around 40s-50s
f(x): 30s-35s. Amber has about 20-25, Luna about 8, Sulli 3 + 2 fx songs
Twice: 35
21: about 25. Pretty evenly split between CL and Minzy
Red Velvet should be around 10 with all the other credits the members have. I think they've said they've had a hard time getting their songs through, not surprising
Miss A, BP: less than 10
15&: upwards of 60 if they count

theyre not big 3 but i cant wait for the day weeekly has so many self-written tracks. these girls havent even reached their first anniv yet and already have 5 self-written songs under their belts.
