My doggo is back home (1 Viewer)

Sasha (my dog) is back home from the vet and doing much better. I think she did it just to get a week of fresh chicken and rice instead of dog food. I'm just happy she's safe and healthy. That was really scary. Thanks to everyone who sent thoughts, prays and worried about her.

Aw yay-I don't know what was going on but glad she's doing better. Also don't leave that No Chew wrap on too long.

She got sick last night and was in so much pain she was screaming. She had all the symptoms of bloat which is often fatal. She was really backed up but over night with some medication, IV, and something for the pain she worked her way through it. My 15 dollar rescue is now a $2000.00 rescue...

I’m glad she’s doing better She looks like my dog tbh, just colored differently. And has my dad nickname But yeah ofc the most important part is that it turned out okay for her.

Yeah, the rescue fee when I got her was 5 dollars for the adoption and 10 for the spay and neuter. The bill for one night in the doggy emergency room came to about 2k. I'm going to make her get a job at a dog cafe and work off the bill!

Thank you, I'm so relieved to have her home. I barely slept and when waking up to my dog gone and not knowing if she was still alive was terrible. Pets should live until we die...

I completely agree, they should.

awwwww she's so cute, even when she's recovering from sickness! Is she a German shepherd? GS mix, maybe?

I think she's a mix but heavy on the GS side. She's my baby.

I'll bet she is! I don't have a dog bc apartment, but I used to have a golden mix named Buddy. He really was my buddy! Sadly, though, he didn't work out bc I wasn't a good enough "pack leader". I mean, I know I could've sent him to obedience school or something, but nah, my parents made me surrender him.

It's never to late to be an awesome Pack leader. Obedience training is just as much for the pack leader as it is for the dog.
