Finished the game recently and needed another thread so
I personally enjoyed the game overall and the game didn't break as much as I thought it would although there was definitely some issues I had with the game.
Story
I went through the story in the level order going from the 1st gym to the last Titan which the change of pace in things to do was nice and I felt like they didn't overdo it on the Titan and Teams to the point where I didn't get sick of any of them and the stories themselves were engaging enough and built towards the climax nicely.
New Pokemon
I liked most of the new Pokemon either from design or that they had fun but ridiculous usage like Maushold with Population Bomb although some of the new evolution methods introduced in Scarlet/Violet I could definitely do without.
Performance
Now for context I was using the Scarlet/Violet Oled Switch and the physical version of the game in handheld mode and even with that the game lagged at times to the point where the screen stopped at a specific point for a while but this was the only real issue I had as others were smaller inconveniences like Pokemon being inside of walls and in Tera raids if you overdamage a raid sometimes the health bar will glitch and the camera did some weird things at times like not focusing on my Pokemon when terastallizing so it just would disappear for a bit.
Overall
Overall I liked the game and liked the ease of access it gives to items although money isn't that easy to get and it was easy to get lost in the exploration however climbing still sucks and I hope that doesn't make it into the next game and Scarlet/Violet definitely improved on the series in some aspects like the open world albeit the graphics were just okay for a game that has a "look at how beautiful the world is" cutscene.
I do feel that one thing that could have improved about the game outside of general performance is level scaling so you could truly do the story in any order but gym leaders meant to be later in the game could have more Pokemon than gym leaders earlier in the game so there is still more of a challenge with later gym leaders and Pokemon meant to be more aggressive and territorial like Ursaring being more confrontational like in Legends Arceus.
