Ill be honest 9 muses flew under my radar.
I got into kpop with SNSD in 2010 and was consuming 3 years content in the first 2 years. ( picture getting into twice in say earlky 2018 how much stuff ther e would be)
I saw many of the groups but they usually needed to have been o something with Girls Generation first.
i dont think they were in this one either.. and i do not remember a weekly idol ( my other go to show)with them.

There is a mention in very early gfriend stuff, members said they looked up to them for being so pretty.
I knew they were kinda Model idols.
its like AOA and girls day, sexy is not what i look for from kpop.
it took bingle bangle and i think heart attack( both with just enough fun) to get me to look back, and notice good luck ect

so I don't know about the sexy part but their songs are extremely pleasing to my ears
as for the model aspect, I believe they are indeed the tallest gg in history, that might be part of it
