I love ioi to pieces, but I am of the opinion that mnet already knew who they mostly wanted when they started the show, so nearly everyone was rigged in to some extent—whether through vote manipulation or screentime favouritism

I would say its more like after that first month or 2 of filming before it went on tv.
They had a handle on the stories they wanted to tell.

Also i do not think the mentors were ever in on the Hussle.

The biggest part of my issues with IOI is Somi similar to pd101 china. vastly unfair to put those 3 in a popularity contest.

And it was a huge part of my initial hate of the pd 48 concept. That without some real work would be vastly unfair to the pure trainees.
And the trainees knew it too. take
this point i time saved


all the aks girls were back at work getting paid and preforming. Miho on national tv often. those Korean girls' are nowhere to be found.

It did not help that pd 48 was a really strange hybrid of training time as the akb group kids were always flying back and forth.
This led to even more kids not knowing much about the other girls for that first task.

China and 101 the kids lived together that entire period( well except for Kimberly who lived in a hotel and flew back and forth)
