• The NCT Japan official account has been doing a countdown to something - the assumption is it's the new unit announcement! Jump here for the thread with teaser posts..
• Big news around releases this year - this isn't gossip, but is from SM's Q4 Financial Report! New unit in April + first Neo solo for first half of year.

• There seems to be a suggestion there will be NCT all-unit concerts!

• NEW PREVIEW: Cute basketball content with SUngTaro on 2/21 at 8 PM KST
• Not a coincidence methinks that we got Sungchan and Shotaro posts around NCT home during this countdown

NCT Dream:

• In other news from the Q4 report, it looks like the Dream Show will go beyond the posted dates - there's no end date of the tour in the report, while others have specific dates.
• Dream wrapped up their Osaka dates to sold-out crowds..

• They went on IG Live after the show and promised to do it at every tour stop.
• They had 120k fans between the three nights of show. Look at the grass. 🌱 👀

• The Dreamies are back home in Korea already, so I guess no Japanese promos for their single?

NCT 127:

• Nature Republic X #NCT127 Fan Festival will happen on Feb. 23 and will consist of a variety of programs, including a mini concert that includes NCT 127's fourth full-length repackage 'Ay-Yo' as well as talks and games with the audience. This is why Jaehyun won't be at Fashion wEek.

• It sounds like Jaehyun will NOT be headed to Milan for fashion week because of a scheduling conflict with a Nature Republic event. 😒
• Jaehyun's trip to Taiwan was to shoot a feature for Esquire Korea! He's already back in Korea now.

• Not sure if I mentioned it, but our Prada It Boy has his face in Prada stores around the globe - Valentines are posting when they see it, from Europe to Australia.

• NEW CONTENT: Behind the scenes in the waiting room on the music shows (with eng subs)

WayV:

• WayV wrapped up their fan meet as well as a signing event.

• They were also on morning TV in Thailand!
• YangYang went live on IG.
• NEW CLIPS: Pretty sure WayV has a new social team cuz they've been working hard!

Biggest Hit on This Stage (Charts, Awards, Milestones):

• Ay-Yo the album is #2 on the Billboard Japan Weekly Albums Chart, NCT Dream's Best friend Ever is #2 on the singles chart. 🍾
• Candy is out of the top 10 on the Melon Weekly Chart for the first time in 8 weeks, down to 12. Ay-Yo is at #65 and tied with Favorite for longest 127 repack.
• Candy slides to #13, Ay-yo to #72 on Melon daily chart.
• In the Hanteo weekly charts, Ay-Yo is at #7, candy is at #18 and 2 Baddies re-entered at #34.
• Candy was also #12 on Digital and Ay-Yo #61
• Both groups were in the world charts at #8 (127) and 10 (Dream), as well as the social chart at #1 (Dream) and #4 (137).
• 2 Baddies topped the United World Chart with the total including the Ay-Yo repack - remember we don't even have full US sales yet with the release delayed to March. 🍾
• ROAD TO 100M 🏃‍♂️ Baby don't Stop 97.1M, Hot Sauce 95.4M

NCT 127 remains in the top 10 most streamed Korean acts on Spotify at #10 with 1.9B streams. If you combined all NCT units, NCT would be #4 at 4.8B streams.

Update - the build-up was to WayV's Japan fanmeet. No Tokyo news yet although I see Shohei went home because of back pain. Not good news a month or so before debut.
