Its hard to say who is in the wrong here, GHS is acting emotionally and obviously doing this to get back at AHJ for the divorce request while on the other hand, AHJ is more away from home throughout their marriage which caused the rift between husband & wife. She started to grow distrustful of her husband as time went on. As i skimmed through the messages, it can somehow feel to GHS that AHJ is keeping secrets from her and the surprise divorce request turned her to this. AHJ seemed to be depressed from his wife deteriorating relationship with him and coupled with busy workloads made him to probably decide that she might not be the one for him. But in the end, we will never know the reason for AHJ request for divorce.

Fyi i am not siding with anyone, just analyzing both parties through the text messages.

i see a lot of comments in other places that call her a gold digger and that's ridiculous to me. she's rich too, probably richer than he is, but what it seems like to me is that he's refusing to really acknowledge this so she's asking him for things out of pettiness but also just so he'd give her something. idk that's what i get from this. it's unfair to see people saying negative stuff about either of them when its clear they're both in a bad place.

Exactly, it is heartbreaking for a relationship to break apart like this, both are suffering in their own way, imo there are still many missing pieces from this to brand her as a gold digger and obsessive wife.

honestly she definitely sounds psycho in the texts but in the same way at times ajh sounds straight up cold hearted. there's really no context to any of these texts. it sounds like they're talking past each other so how could an outsider have any clue...

I'm done with them and their marital problems. They need to mature up and go to court and settle this. Straight up I've seen middle school kids handle their breakups better.
