I remember that. One of the former staff on the show blew the whistle. It makes me think why this issue wasn't addressed then and has only been brought to light 2 years and 2 seasons after the news.

It could be that first two seasons had favoritism like in tweets, some members getting lyrics and choreo earlier to rehearse etc. Not good for competition, but not necessary criminal if it's justified with making better "tv" and wasn't done cause companies were briding the pd. I think the bridery and then the voting being for nothing are bigger issues than unfair competition

It could be but even favoritism like that makes the final lineup tainted because some of the ones who did make it could have been eliminated without the benefit of getting stuff early. Reality of this is we will never know what the true final lineup would be of any of them if Mnet was always giving out stuff early because they could have easily screwed over someone really good because they didn't want them in the final lineup.
