DID YOU EVER PLAY A DRAGON QUEST GAME? IF SO , WHICH ONE(S)

i recently purchased dragon quest 8 for my 2ds xl (limited pikachu edition )
and i played dragon quest 9 on ds, loved it
also got dragon quest 7 somewhere but not loving it so far​

The only one I played was 8 way back in the day on the PS2. One of the best games of all time.

My sister played and beat 11 last year and she loved it.

I'm familiar with the series even though I haven't played much of them.

It's the biggest game in Japan.

yeah i read online on a lot of websites that dragon quest 8 on ps2 is apparently the best ever
so since i liked dragon quest 9 so much ... i thought why not give the 8 3ds version a try
if a lot of people say it is one of the best rpg on 3ds..... it has got to be good right

DQ8 is in a league of its it's own.

She played DQ11 on PS4 and got the platinum trophy which takes over 100 hours to get. She couldn't put that game down she loved it too much.
