Yeah I feel the same way. The album sounds kinda bland... Hopefully the full songs are better.

I've seen people talking about "Hope"
It's cute that the girls wrote the lyrics, but to me, it sounds boring.
"Fever" and "WIsh" are what I'm looking forward to.

I've seen an all too familiar pattern with reactions to the new teaser..
To sum it up. I-Buddies are unhappy with "Fever"
At the same time, Non - Buddies, are the ones most positive about the new sound.

It looks like once again, it will be up to Korean Buddies to save GFriend. (Like FingerTip)

How many times can GFriend keep producing the same, orchestral, melancholy, mood songs?

Sunrise was superior to TFTMN, yet it did not perform as well, it took 4 physical versions to reach 90K (That's not exactly stellar for that many versions)
100K Gaon barrier SHOULD have been broken, but we fell short.

Why? Because Korean Buddies are getting a bit tired of the same style, even if it's been pretty good.

I personally like this version, and even though I'm in the minority, as long as Korean Buddies like it.. I'll be happy.

I-Buddies are unhappy? Really? I mean I've seen a few being meh about the song but the majority of buddies I've seen (from Twitter, YT, forums etc..) have been just as excited about the concept change as non buddies. As for K-buddies, we'll just have to wait and see ^^

Yeah same here actually. General consensus I've seen online (on the English/non-Korean side) seem positive overall, saying it's a nice step in the right direction if they were going for a slight concept change (which they were). Not too drastic while keeping the GFriend sound
