[OSEN = Reporter Sun Mikyung] Global interest in the new album of the group Highlight is continuing.
Highlight (Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon)'s third mini-album 'The Blowing(더 블로잉)' has topped the iTunes album chart in four regions, Brazil, Mongolia, Thailand and Vietnam, since its release on the 3rd.
It then reached the top 10 in Asia, the Middle East and South America, including Chile, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Israel, Japan and Turkey.
Highlight topped the Bugs and Genie real-time charts with the title track 'Not the End (불어온다),' and quickly entered the Melon 24 Hits chart, which tallies usage on a 24-hour cumulative basis. All the songs in the album also entered the charts, realizing the positive response of music fans to the new album.
The album 'The Blowing', which was released after three years and seven months as a whole group, is an album about Highlight, who returned after a long wait, hoping to share the most enjoyable and brilliant moment of their lives. A total of six songs were included, including the title track 'Not the End (불어온다),' 'Wave,' 'Hey Yeah (밤이야),' 'Sorry (미안),' 'Disconnected(디스커넥티드),' and 'Surf(서프).'
In particular, the title song 'Not the End (불어온다),' in which Lee Gi-kwang participated in the lyrics and composition, is a song containing a message of hope that it is not the end but a new beginning, just as spring comes when winter passes.
On top of that, Lyle Beniga (라일 베니가), a world-renowned choreographer who worked with Highlight through '12:30 (12시 30분),' 'YeY (예이),' and 'Ribbon (리본),' participated in the choreography and showed synergy once again.
