I kinda agree w/most of ur points here.
I read abt Sica appearance in Singapore for Blanc n Eclare event but I dint go then, broke af. I checked the prices for a simple t-shirt, so Ex.
So not surprised Soho flagship closed; dint even know abt Soho flagship store in NY.
She has higher profile in Asia n Korea so maybe focus on this market(I understand if BnE opened flagship in NY as prestige/ego issue, but not being as well-known as Victoria Beckham in the west, it's an uphill battle.) [Wonder if opening NY flagship store is a big f* you to SM, or a gift from Tyler to Jessica; too bad it's closed.] Maybe BnE might hv been focused on Korea/Asia slowly if things were different n not expanded to NY flagship store until more recognition; we'll never know wat could hv been if Sica had time n opportunity to remain in SNSD n build up her brand but we know she wont give up without a fight. I believe BnE will be a strong brand in Korea n Asia. Hwaiting.
I think the flagship was only one of two actual Blanc and Eclare stores, I think the other is in California (San Fran I think).
For the most part, sunglasses still seem to be the bread winner for Jessica since most of locations carrying B&E are glasstiques and eyewear stores.
If she stayed in Soshi (or even left in more amicable terms) there would definitely be more stores carrying B&E. I've read netizen comments about her stores closing down in Korea but I don't think she ever had any in the first place. Just stores carrying her brand. Hopefully they still are carrying them since her website clearly isn't up-to-date
Luckily her reputation in China/Taiwain/Hong Kong is near indestructible. At least 80% of the stores carrying her brand are there.
I have faith in the Jung stubbornness. Blanc means more to Jessica than anything else. It's her only clear shot at a legacy that's only hers. I just hope it works out. Five years in is big deal for a business
