Day 3 is said to be Velvet side :D. And their unreleased song ('Shining') they performed at La Rouge certainly fits the Velvet side. So if it is going to be released, it might be a b-side on Day 3!

Look on the bright side: The release date means

• They get to promote Finale on year-end shows (SBS, KBS, MBC Gayos --- RV's attendance is listed for the first two).
• They are the only ones (so far) having a comeback in the second half of December.

This also opens up the possibility of a Japanese release (be it a single or mini) when they go on tour in Japan next January and February. The timing would've been awkward had Finale been scheduled for a mid-January release.

By some fluke they may get a bunch of empty house type wins. But that is not super inspiring considering how badly they did digitally this year.

By now not sure they have a market for music in japan have any of the albums, as much as i like them, done well?
Any way they have just toyed with Japan 2 3 song minis with 3 old song in Japanese chaotic song release schedule.
No full album of mostly original songs.
Japan is where they go to tour. Hey at least we do actually get dvd/ blu rays :)

With the album sales and chart numbers being split it will be interesting.....
Physical numbers will be 2019 and digital 2020.

I haven't seen any clues regarding the new songs' titles, though I'm hoping "Shining" is one of the 4.
