People shouldn't complain about views getting deleted on MVs (1 Viewer)

I have quite often seen fandoms complain about youtube deleting views on their MVs but....
Isn't that just Youtube doing its job?

Streamed views aren't SUPPOSED to count!
Fandoms have just found a way to stream in a way the algorithm doesn't realize those are spam views.

They are trying to make youtube the bad guy for deleting views that shouldn't have counted anyway! It's absolutely hilarious how little self awareness a lot of the fandoms have.

View goals are usually given as incentives for streaming and groups do give out prizes for that as well as they count for music shows with some being worth more than album sales so kpop is giving people a reason to stream.

I don't understand it either. Same thing with: "This new mv has 10k likes, but only 1k views youtube is against (insert artist)!" That's how youtube always works.

having 100 million views or something like that can be a nice achievement but i personally never understood people who skipped school, meals and so on just so they can stream a MV. don't even get me started on people telling everyone not to use emojis in the comment section because it might delete the views, that is just ridiculous.

As a Dreamcatcher fan, I really can't relate, we barely get 10 million views as it is.

Still the views weren't supposed to count in the first place.
Although with smaller groups liek Dreamcatcher I can understand Streaming a bit more than with big groups.

For small groups every small achievement is SOMETHING.
But if you are selling hundreds of thousands of albums, selling out big concerts etc.... What odes streaming even give y'know?

That is true, but I guess streaming means more promotion for your group? But then why would bigger groups need more promotion when they are already popular in the first place?
Also, when Dreamcatcher got to 10 million views, they did a special MV, and (G)I-dle did a special MV for getting a certain amount of views too.
Other than that, there really is no reason why it should be necessary for a group to get as many views as possible.
