i used to be more of any exo stan when there was exo m section ( i didn't even know the names of the exo - k members until the exo-m unit lost three members and disolved) now i still like exo and listen to releases but i'm not a stan per-se so i feel confident i can still answer this


kai is really emotive when dancing from the fancams I've seen (admittedly not too many) even if he did not have his visuals I'd be completely enraptured by his enthusiasm and energy on stage

kai and taeyong are both jaejoongs of the third generation, that all i have to say on their looks, fan or no fan they've got it. and they are unmatched no matter who your fave is no matter how great, their visuals are not as good and mutually agreed to be great as those two.

The main thing that draws me to Kai is how much he enjoys performing! It's like... When he is on stage his smile is so beautiful and the purest form of joy I have ever seen!

i definetly agree
I'm not going to claim visuals aren' important to me, they definetly are

BUT talent and especially things like performance (and over all) charisma draw me too an idol way more, you can be pretty mediocre or even ugly but having a good time and being purely joyful really make any one look good.

and kai definetly excels at this , he always has top tier charisma and its infectious

He also has such duality! It's because when he is performing, he forgets everything else, even being shy etc...

I remember whe he explained about the croptops... apparently he likes them and was the one to bring the idea up with his stylist... but he also feels weird and really shy wearing them. Except when he is dancing he is confident and doesn't think about it, but the moment he stops he gets shy!

It's like... the Kai performing and the Jongin we have at other times are completely different, but at the same time aren't!

Also he says he does this little bend walk when wearing them, so he is kinda leaning forward/slouching so the shirt would cover up his bellybutton! Like I said, he gets shy!
