oh well even when I technically had an ult, I would have one group (or soloist) I would get obsessed with and mostly watch/pay attention to their stuff for a few weeks, and then it would become someone else, that's mostly how I handled being a multi. Maybe bc of ADHD? Idk, but that's what always happens, I do the same thing with hobbies, and random stuff too (like once I was obsessed with drinking water, once with knuckle pushups, etc.)

Originally my ult group was exo, bc I liked their music overall, and after getting obsessed with one of my other groups and having them as "current fave" I would always come back, but honestly I don't like their recent music (after 2018) much at all, don't like the members solos and don't consider myself a fan of any of them as soloists, don't like exo sc and think they're only popular bc of the members and exo label, considering lots of nugus release that kind of music and exols diss them. I got bored watching a mafia game from them before too. I honestly even started getting annoyed when exo songs came on, bc they were only my most played artist bc I had both chinese and korean versions of all their songs on my playlist, and I don't even listen to them much anymore. But now I like them and their music again after listening to my groups more evenly

Also with having an ult group or smth, ppl expect you to choose them over others or smth. I can like some releases less than others and liking someone's music the best doesn't make them the best at EVERYTHING, and I'm expected to be biased, and choose them over groups I'm not a fan of for everything, and other groups I'm a fan of too.

But I like all my groups' music, some releases more than others, some overall more than others, some older music more than others, some bsides more, some titles more, some newer music more, etc. I was also a huge nugu promoter

And I promote ALL of them, no one can say I don't like a group I claim to, I promote groups to fans of my other groups too

I just have to watch a music video, watch a performance, some variety, listen to a song I really like but hadn't heard in a while from one of them, to get reminded why I love them so much <3 <3 <3 members and music

And there's no one group I would want to listen to ONLY, I love listening to them all

And if they all make me happy, it's not such a bad thing is it?
