She I think is a chameleon. Yes, she isn't the strongest vocally but she can camouflage her voice well and I think that's impressive.

That's a good point. Sometimes when groups have too many strong vocalists, like you can appreciate that they're all individually good, but they don't necessarily come together cohesively. She can stand out when she needs to, but she can also fit in really well too.

Well I can tell you that Cube wasn’t as flexible with CLC as IDLE is now thats why idk if its Soyeon’s influence or not. Their fandom is called @Neverland

I can't comment on CLC's abilities but the only reason Soyeon (and the rest of the ladies) have as much creative control as they do is because Cube was struggling a lot to come up with music for their debut. Soyeon took action, writing and producing their debut single herself and being heavily involved in creating their debut EP. Since the single and album was a great success CUBE continued to trust Soyeon with having great input in the musical and creative direction of the group. This allowed the other members to also be given more creative control and decision making power in the group; Minnie and Yuqi specifically contribute to the lyrics, composition, and arrangements of their B-sides tracks.
