So far most of the girls are very supportive of each other. If ya do well they vote up.
They have all been thru training and got and likely given feed back.
The ones that get hammered made mistakes.
0 and 26-7 is crazy because many girls tended to vote early in the performance so if its a zero it was off from the start.
like some would have been wort but people were voting in the first 20-30 seconds.

One poor girl did INVU in front of Taeyeon.... it was not good.

9 weeks to go. Plenty of time for plot twists and reversal of fortunes ig! In the end, they are looking for chemistry, not a solo act putting on a show! Let's keep that in mind! ;)

If I recall correctly it was something like 16-9 or something like that. Not bad but not exactly great for her.

Edit: that was Zoa. Yeah, it was 20-7 for chae

so what is considered a good vote then, @RandAlThor even called Boras 25-2 not good enough

Chaeyeon’s score was 20-7(20 upvotes- 7 downvotes)

The up down competition is to sort out the teams for the team battles. The top scorers of the up-down competition will be able to choose which “Pick” teams they will join (PICK Cat and PICK on the top) for the battle rounds. The songs they will perform are either “Snap” or “Charasmatic”.





The ones who are not within the top 14 (technically top 13), will perform the same songs but they will have different teams (Athena and Drop the Beat).

But you guys said at the start, that they should only vote up if they think the other girl did better then themselfs. thats different to just voting if the other girls did well.

Also why vote in the first 20-30 seconds, is there any need to rush..? Is Mnet telling them to do so to make it look more dramatic..?

Yes, 7 members

lets if that stays, but I feel like with this kind of surivial shows they usually kept the amount of members they said at the start.

Only the shows run by one agency change it afterwards

yeah well, considering 2 contestants already left, they might end up forming a 6 member group instead of 7 for all we know. The other way around applies as well. I mean, Momoland (Finding Momoland) was supposed to be 6 members and they added Jane at the last minute due to overwhelming fan votes. So they ended up debuting as 7 in 2016. Anyhow, we'll see ig, lol, it wouldn't be the first time that rules change along the way! :D

but Momoland was with trainees from one company, right? Thats exactly what I meant, its the same as all the JYP or YG shows, they always changed the number at the end (Twice, Stray Kids, Treasure, Winner/Ikon just to name a few)

But with shows where many different companies are involved, they seem to keep the number consistent (e.g. Produce Series or Girls / Boys Planet)

But at best there is 1 vocal there who could do as well. (Kei)

The criteria is left to the girls.
To me it appears they are mostly voting on if the performance was good.
Even some clips from the next ep have girls saying i know she can do better so i voted down.

But one interesting point she raised was that she thought some contestants where singing live, while she had a suspsicion other could be lipsyncing. What do you think on that?

honest tg! I had the exact same reaction in regards to the actual singing. I mean, some of them you could barely hear over the playback and some others were actually overpowering it with their vocals! I don't know, its weird. In the end, I'm thinking we should just go along with the ride and cease worrying about what Mnet could be up to! LOLLL but If you want my honest opinion, and i'll say this in closing, I think that there's a remote possibility that the "7" were actually signed to contracts 6 months ago and that the other 20 participants are merely there to gain experience and put on a good show. There's so much involved in the process of uniting members from different active groups to create a "super" one that in the end, the various agencies must (or may) have known for a while about the outcome. They need to plan for the other group members not participating in this survival and in all likelihood, they need to figure out some sort of risk management plan.

I may sound frustrated because JooE isn't doing good but I assure you, I've known all along she stood zero chances to shine on there. So my reservations with Mnet's formula have nothing to do with her performance on the show. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, let's just be mindful of the fact that this show isn't about solo performances but rather, a goal to form a 7-member group that has chemistry on and off the stage. To work as a Team requires more than charisma and/or powerful pipes at times! It's a commitment to stand tall for others as much as yourself!

Let's just enjoy the show! After all, we've got 9 great weeks ahead of us! <3

I'm glad you are having such a positive mindset about it!

If you think there is a possiblity the 7 are already signed, does that mean there is no viewer voting involved in this and MNET has full control?

Well, thus far, viewers are invited to vote once a week for a 7-member lineup through the Mnet plus app. That being said, how do we know if those votes are actually compiled? Of course, I'm merely speculating here and somewhat going to extremes but still...... who knows!? right?!

That's why i'm saying, lets just go with the flow I guess and have a good time! :) Whatever the outcome, i'm sure it will be great to watch!
