Have you ever seen ads or other ways or pressuring you to join the military? It sounds like a very US thing but I don’t know if other countries have it too. The ironic part is I’m ineligible to join and still get ads galore for them

We get adverts for the Royal Navy, but they’re not pressurising. The advert tells the journey of how a guy joins and how nice it is he’s found his crew.

During the pandemic, I got Canadian Join the army ads everywhere and nothing else for like a few months straight

In my country, No. But a neighboring country tat we get tv broadcast signals from has (or did when i had a tv n watched terrestrial broadcast tv) did hv many ads for joining the armed forces. I think i rmbr a navy one.

No not really, its seen as a nobel thing and we are proud of those who have served but theres no real pressure to join for the general public

No, not many go to the military since we have a smaller military force than the US obv. Also it's very hard to get in, with different physical and psychological tests, but the pay after someone retires at like 45 is quite fine.
