Summed up many of my thoughts.

Honestly, I feel like next time I wouldn't even be mad if Mnet or the mentors had a say in who got in the group, AS LONG AS they're transparent and open about it instead of rigging the final votes. Like, maybe make it so 50% of the points come from the votes and other 50% from the mentors. Or at least let the mentors pick one member by themselves.

It's so painfully clear that the show was rigged against the Japanese and Chinese trainees. The final voting period by itself was a huge "fuck you" to the whole international audience. If they really cared about the group being a kpop group working in Korea and thus wanted to give the Korean audience a much bigger say in who gets in, then jesus christ just do the 50/50 from the beginning.

I'd honestly be much happier with Mnet affecting the results rather than seeing international trainees and fans be f'd over for weeks just to get disappointed in the final.

I am sooo happy that Chaehyun, Yeseo and Xiaoting got in, nevertheless. And also a bit sad for Xiaoting.

It would have been better to do the last 3 rounds as pick 3 instead of one pick from each group and one pick for the last 2.

Its not going to stop the voting for nationalities deal. among the 3 nations but it would have mitigated it.

Folks are blaming Koreans but really K group got a bunch of int votes also.

Yurina and Xiaoting especially had week solo support, but ill bet each was many folks 2nd or 3rd choice.

Lol i really think the pd 48 producer saw only 1 j girl in the group like the early reveal here and said screw it. I am picking.

But ill bet mnet defines global group as having global reach, not as having x number of members from any non Korean country.

They mentally can not even picture not giving the Korean girls an advantage since they have a us vs the world attitude.
Especially with historical enemies like Japan and China who out number them so much.

The raw vote even with all the Bs shows that K group could have done ok. But you would have HB as center .................

Honestly though by the time the show went into production ill bet they wanted very very little to do with China its just such a mess there. Like every one they want the money from there but the over head annoyance is getting out of hand.

That's why I'll never seriously watch these survival shows and stan their final groups, I'll just get mad at things beyond my reach and the obvious rigging that like nobody cares about a week after being exposed because people still eat it up the same way as before instead of actually behaving a "fck you, we don't support this behavior" statements. Sure the idols still worked hard and deserve popularity but not at the expense of others and their own health - physical and mentally

Pretty perfect on who was in, Yurina just had no bounce in one pick land.

i didn't order the guess but did kinda hope for Yujin as center.

being center and main vocal is a lot of work and honestly will not fit most choreo ppl are used to in a group of that size.

Yujin getting more int votes to cover C's Korean votes.

Hikaru may be a bit high but really think she is going to get pushed hard.

i would not want HB just because she has done nothing to stand out just kept her head down and worked the name.
But she has a boat load of fans who think she great, and they are teen girls used to supporting a bg. (....so, driven :) )
Sohye, YCY, and Hyewon had strong strong arcs and stepped up to do stuff.

I think unless mnet really plays with the voting 5 or 6 is min K group and they probably want at least 5.
also history of produce in Korea tells us a young group IZONE was actually older than IOI.
This group will be older still judging from the pool of girls available.
That aside I would like a less gc mix.

Depending on what live vote rules they go with. If they do 7 x again wow.
Also any more reveals will have big impact. pd 101 both made it and Chungha went to 4. pd 48 Chowon went to 6(just to show the power of the reveal) and we have to assume it saved Hitomi and Chaewon.
If its still super heavy K group (7 or more) expect mnet to do every legal thing they can to get some C and J girls in.
Even down to planet passes.

Honestly hating on the girls is just a shitty thing to do, I GET it you would rather have your faves in, but y'know that doesn't mean you have to drag other girls down.

esp. since you never know what the girls end up like OUTSIDE of the show. Hyewon went from me not wanting her in IZ*ONE to being my wrecker.

It's honestly disgusting how much ppl are willing to hate on girls whose only crime is to fulfill their fucking dream.

If you don't like the group then you don't have to stan. You aren't owed a group that you like just bcs you watched the show.
