Official Regarding Fifty Fifty's Card Set (1 Viewer)

Fifty Fifty have gone through a lineup change which isn’t new to groups. Typically, we include all former members in sets unless a serious unsettling situation occurs with an idol where we give a vote to include/exclude their card in the set.

The situation with 50/50 is more unique. Members left, legal troubles as well as other issues between the former members and the company ensued, new members were added, and opinions have been very loud about the former and current members.

We’ve talked about including all members and, alternatively, creating two separate sets (50/50 1.0 and 50/50 2.0)
Or if there are any new ideas.

We want to hear from you guys, those who have an interest in the group, what do you think would be best?

Personally I think you should include them all in a single set since at the end of the day people can just choose not to collect the members they don't want as I don't see any strong moral issues. The girls listened to someone they trusted but that person only had his own interests in mind and their careers are probably over.

I'd go more for 2 sets if this was a complete reboot of the group but Keena realized they were caught in an executive power struggle and returned to the company.

If you do decide on changing the set though instead of creating an alternative Fifty Fifty set you could wait and see if the other 3 girls end up debuting in another group like they are apparently going to and just make the Fifty Fifty set the lineup it is now.

I like the separate set ideas as I feel like there are people who may not want to collect the new lineup or the old lineup and one set would prevent those users from completing the set. Or wait until 3jeong debuts and make two sets that way.

I would suggest (a) FIFTY FIFTY without 3 original members option for those users against collecting the members who tried to abscond & are now on the outs from ATTRAKT.

(b) mentioned above hvg all 8 members combined.

(c) my least favorite option hvg 2 versions, original 4 members and also current 5 member lineup(my opinion is this gives KEENA 2 cards whereas no other set has this distinction: if Brave Girls AND BB Girls gets a set, it's still not exactly the same. Or if MADEIN gets a set in batch 11, it's still 2 distinct groups(again not exactly similar to 50 50).

I would go for all 8 members option rn, if it was up for a vote. Option (c) just seems not to my liking.

PS could we give opinions on MADEIN/LIMELIGHT card set, I might hv a somewhat revolutionary idea(similar to if MINX had a card set after they debuted, then was changed to Dreamcather; OK exactly tat)

Fifty fifty set with anyone who's ever been a member or is currently and a separate set with just the three that left when and if they debut solo or as a new group.

The current approach has been that anyone who has ever been a member of the group is in the set, even with much more serious lawsuits against their former company (such as TVXQ or Luhan and Tao from EXO). I don't really get Fifty Fifty getting special consideration here.

Personally, I would prefer to see Fifty Fifty and other sets split when members leave and have a clear redebut (like TVXQ and JYJ or EXID and BESTie), which would put Fifty Fifty to the new members and the 3Jeong into whatever their new group will be if they redebut as announced.

For me I just see it as if you feel that strongly enough against a member then just don't collect their cards like I prioritize collecting OT5 EXID over the BESTie members because while I like BESTie I don't stan them so I don't mind getting their cards to finish the sets but I won't be as motivated. I've seen people have that take with AB6IX Youngmin too since he got voted to stay previously but there are AB6IX fans who just don't collect his card as a result.

we can never guarantee something we have no control over but it's like saying what guarantee do we have that mafia in the morning was just a song by Itzy and they are not really part of the mafia and lead a life of crime? Ofc it's extremely unlikely, but we can't guarantee it

As the people responsible for the discord are not part of the group / company anymore, there is no reason to assume there will be further problems, as far as we can tell from the outside.

I agree. Same way if you don't want the members of EXO who sued and left or don't want certain members of groups who are viewed as problematic, nothing stopping you from trading them away, putting them into the roulette or doing a reroll


I just also use EXID/BESTie as an example of why I'd prefer members who have moved on and redebuted into a new group being split, because I can only collect 3/4 of BESTie since Dahye was never part of EXID. And Uji, Hyeyeon, and Haeryung were part of BESTie longer than they were of EXID. (I mean, heck, their own EXID cards are largely photos from their time in BESTie.)

Which for me goes back to: I think this whole thing should be a broader conversation of how idols who leave a group and redebut are categorized. I don't get Fifty Fifty getting special consideration.

Immediately thought of TVXQ too. And Jaejoong only recently was able to appear on broadcast music shows after being blacklisted by SM.
