VIVIZ is a trio made up of members of the formerly disbanded GFRIEND. They have been putting in a lot of work with a bunch of comebacks, their ‘Maniac’ killing point dance blew up a while back. They have also been busy touring they were in NY only a year ago which Ive missed and now they’re back again.

The members themselves have expressed their worries regarding performing a concert on their own with no backup dancers. This will be their first time doing this considering they always have dancers back in Korea.

But I can assure you, and I think a lot of the fans will agree with me on this, that VIVIZ on their own have just enough energy and personality to still be able to pull it off. So the stage may visibly be emptier, but the energy is still there and I respect them a lot for it.

That aside, the actual concert was good. VIVIZ played bingo with the audience, did some challenges, showcased some of their solo work. More or less typical things you would see. VIVIZ decided to perform some songs requested by fans that were not in the setlist which was nice.

Got to briefly meet them backstage for the hi-touch. Eunha looks like a literal fairy up close (my own bias is SinB but that’s slowly changing…)

All in all, its a good experience. A bit short on the songs but honestly I would still see them again given the chance.
