Yeah once the Olympics is on, plenty of countries shelve a lot of their programmes (mostly daytime) to broadcast Olympics coverage.

I don’t know if South Korea have a similar deal, but here in the UK certain sporting events have to be made free to air live. Even though we suck at the Winter Olympics, it’s very much included in that deal, so it takes over the BBC. The BBC is funded by the taxpayer, but other free to air channels are also included in the deal depending on the sport/event.

lol in the us its on whom ever owns it..... maybe since they tend to tape delay every thing Which is pretty stupid since everyone who cares at all knows the results by then.
