I just went to the xcancel version of the link, and I'm not convinced that this person isn't a troll account. The "source" link is a VVS video, and the commenters seem like they know this person as some sort of "promotes their faves via trolling"

People on the insta and YouTube video of the teaser are saying it's Kim Yebin, not that that's better. (Edit: Age-wise. I will say, Yebin can definitely sing at least.) But IDK, definitely doesn't seem confirmed either way.

I absolutely agree, someone from Spica would have been amazing. Or one of the BESTie girls. Or to have Raina back!! So many good choices.

Regardless of whether it's Bada or Yebin or some other 4th/5th gen girle, I feel bad for them. No one who is following Secret's comeback is going to be more looking forward to seeing some random newcomer over our long-time faves. And that's always a hard position to be in.

It's probably not so much who is proven nor can handle the secret style from 2nd/3rd gen as much as who is willing n RBW can convince con into signing up n joining Secret(im sure it's not a long term gig) I think.

Yeah especially as Kpop just is not the same as it was when Secret was around last since it shifted more to the dance side being the focus so even if their vocals aren't as strong as long as they could release a song that fit them with that Secret flair it would've been fine and even more so if this is likely to be a one off as really I'd be surprised if there was this strong fanbase to make another comeback worth it

This. And there have been plenty of subunit duos now that are the rapper + the hard-carrying vocalist. It's definitely possible to make good music even if Hyoseong is functionally singing 90% of the song. Sprinkle in enough rap lines or lines that don't need a wide vocal range, and it'd be fine.
