Longest you’ve gone without sleep?

how long can you go w/o sleep before hallucinations ?

etc etc

right now it’s almost 9:30 pm Monday

i haven’t slept since I woke up Saturday 10:00 am

over 59 hours, over two days straight without sleep

longest I had gone without sleep at a stretch before was 40 or maybe 41 or maybe 43 never even two days

but no hallucinations or anything like that I didn’t eat much, one meal Saturday, 0 yesterday, 2 today, and I have rlly bad adhd so not like cognitive abilities are great with normal sleep … but they’re not like terrible now or anything …

when does it happen? No permanent brain damage or anything from more than 72 hours right? I don’t want that

but if you are telling me SLEEP no you’re not gonna change my mind I can’t I have finals projects I’m doing so mad i have so much to do

I’m feeling like taking a half an hour nap but I always end up accidentally sleeping 15 hrs so can’t

but do yell at me if I come hear again and wasting my awake time

ever since i watched nightmare on elm street & they were saying u could go into coma from lack of sleep... i made sure to keep a good sleep schedule 😭 that's too scary. if you absolutely have to stay up to work, make sure you're well hydrated & fed or you'll eventually pass out. wishing you the strenght to finish all that you have to do, it sounds stressful

I went 4 days. Started hallucinating around night 3. At this point take melotonin or something in some kind of attempt to sleep

Maybe 41 hours. Only needed one all nighter to start hallucinating. Good luck.

I went only 1 day without sleep because I had to pull an all nighter. I got sick afterward.

ive had so many all-nighters i think my longest was a bit over 48hrs but ive done it so many times and so many days where id get less than 3 hours of sleep that i now i cant help but fall asleep randomly in the middle of the day. (like even if i get proper sleep for days in a row...im still always falling asleep in the middle of the day...)

if i stay awake for too long/lack of sleep i hear banging noises (that are for sure just in my head) not consistent but like every once and awhile just hear a crash.

I had a time in the past where I need to take rather high doses of cortisone. One of the side effects was insomnia - real insomnia, not getting a Dreamcatcher stan!

I was without sleep for about 80 hours continously. I was tired, but not extremely tired, I felt not exhausted. I had no hallucinations, but heart problems: rapid pulse, dizziness - probably caused by the cortisone, not by the lack of sleep.

A small dose of Diazepam from my doctor ended that madness.

BTW, I didn't break the world record of 264 hours!

If it's ADD meds when I took a stimulant I literally didn't sleep for 2 weeks. Maybe an hour a night and I was manic. I'll never do that again. My mother said I'd walk say half a thought and then walk a way. I have Zero memories of those two weeks.

Thats probably why I didn’t hallucinate or anything while not sleeping yesh

they definitely help me more than hurt me I just took my them at night bc I needed to finish work

That's why you can't sleep, sis! Stimulants are meant for daytime doses, not nighttime! Take it from me, a fellow ADD sufferer. I used to be in the habit of taking my stimulant too late, and it's caused me many a sleepless night.

I have no Trouble sleeping - I stayed up on purpose to finish projects and hw

and then couldn’t focus so took the next days dose early Aka like 3 am
