if you already have the card then you reroll the ones you already have and then replace it immediately
it's how you don't break up a set
so if i have nct taeyong and trade for a new one then they reroll the one i had before and replace it with the new taeyong

For some re-rolls, if you have a card you want and you've held it for at least a week, you can of course re-roll it.

But if you want it back you make the trade for it immediately. The re-roll @Yili has just posted is in the wrong order so is perhaps slightly confusing. It should be Re-roll first, followed by the trade. She's not getting Shotaro then immediately re-rolling. She's already had Shotaro since January.

It's a small advantage to simply get a re-roll, but to do that you still need to give away a card for it via trade most of the time so it doesn't affect someone's general card count.
