Although their style changes around over the years (their "contemporary boy group" title of sub genre really working well for them in that sense), they remain iconic artists through the ages. The group has been here for ten years and counting, and all but (after Onew this coming December) one have released their own album or EP.
All of the members have written songs/helped write songs for the group as well as themselves solo, they all have talent in vocals (and have distinct, colorful voices and styles), can dance, are both humorous but hard working, attractive, role models to other idols and artists that come after them, a group that's been praised time and time again by industry professionals both in South Korea as well as internationally, have a loyal fan base (even if it has thinned out a bit over the past ten years), rake in the dough from their concerts in Japan and Korea, have talent overloads (singing, dancing, modeling, acting, musical acting/singing, endorsing, writing, producing, creating clothing, playing various instruments - and well, I might add - collaborating with other artists in various capacities, radio dj prowess, opera singing, various other random "talents") and are humble as Hell.
They still wish to do better for their fans and the public, despite winning a ton of awards and merits in their careers thus far. They still tell us they are lacking but want to work hard to make up for it. They share pain with us, openly, and seem to find comfort in Shawols' figurative arms just as we find comfort in their music.
Honestly.
One of the greatest idol groups and five artists that the industry of Kpop has had the pleasure to have.
I can't wait to see where their futures take them. I wish them nothing but continued success and happiness.
