SM Cancels f(x) 10th Anniversary Fan Support (2 Viewers)

Fx-Oxygen had been working for months on a 10th anniversary fan support to be placed in COEX Mall.

During the entire time they worked on it and made adjustments to it, they received no feedback from SM. At the last minute SM rejected it for no clear reason except that it was a "company issue"

After extreme and intense backlash (and no doubt bad optics), SM is currently walking it back calling it a "misunderstanding"


SM still has yet to put out an official statement on Amber leaving the company


In other news, if you go on the Smtown store website you can find the same generic anniversary merch that SM released for Soshi and Red Velvet painted purple and resold for f(x)'s 10th anniversary

Well while this does seem shady, they could actually have a problem with using Amber in f(x) stuff as she's left the company same for Tiffany, Seohyun and Sooyoung not getting any new stuff.

i thought about that but there is no commerical benefit for having those fan supports. While SM can't sell ot8 merchandise anymore, they still used their images to celebrate Soshi milestones. They even had Jessica's uniform on display at one point and she definitely left that company on bad terms.
