I'm more concerned that it looks like SM is going to make Aespa's discography strictly all about the SMCU.
Training for years and then being told hey girls you're gonna basically sing about Kwangya and Kosmo all the time

The SMCU is basically like the MCU but with SM- it's called the SM Culture Universe
Kwangya, Kosmo, ae, synk, flat, all these are part of the whole Aespa lore lol.

It's their concept which is fine but looks like SM is investing big time into this SMCU and it looks like Aespa songs might just end up becoming kinda ads for the whole thing lol. They had dropped this 10 minute trailer about the SMCU a few days back which might explain a little:




It's really well made but Aespa lyrics are basically all about this stuff lol. If you're a random listener with no idea about all this or no investment in the SMCU, then it's gonna be hard to relate
